Pycnanthemum virginianum

American mountain mint

Native to North America

 CHECK AVAILABILITY

An unusual common name, since this plant would prefer to be in full sun to part shade, in wet to moist soil - no shady mountains for this plant. White flowers, sometimes with a lavender hue,  appear in July into early September atop fragrant foliage on stems 2-3 feet tall with a spread of 12 - 18".   Pollinators love this extremely hardy and easy to grow plant.
