Hidcote is a compact English Lavender.  Deep purple-blue flowers begin in mid-summer and continue into late summer.  Extremely drought tolerant, they prefer well drained soils.  Use flowers fresh or dried.  Excellent in containers, rock gardens, mass plantings, and rooftop gardens.
